As a member of the berry family, Pomegranates have a thick, leathery, crimson brown skin. Look inside to find a pinkish pulp and edible scarlet seeds that are tender, sweet, and tart.

    Seeds are eaten fresh, used in salads, desserts, sorbets, soups, meat sauces, poultry, as a garnish, and for juice and in sauces. The seeds are the sweet part of the fruit and contain wonderful juices.
