Babu Mizuna is a mild feathery green typically found in Asian dishes and also a standard ingredient of mesclun salad mixes. It has a mild, yet tangy flavor.
It has bright green, irregularly-shaped leaves at the end of long stems. The leaves have a mild fresh crisp taste not at all pungent, and can be used in all types of salads or cooked. The Japanese are fond of the leaves pickled.
