Cilantro is fresh and tangy with a slight hint of aromatic sage and citrus. It has the culinary attribute of tampering down some of the heat from chile peppers. This herb has dark green, lacy leaves and is extremely fragrant and aromatic.
Cilantro can be used in salsas, guacamole, mixed green salads, soups and curry dishes. However, some people have a particular gene that makes it taste very soapy to them.
