    A taste test will present a smoky, peppery flavor, but once you cook them, they transform into mild and earthy and are deliciously tender. Their petite size lends themselves to drying without becoming leathery. Best pairings include; allium, parsley, origanum, thyme, lavender, dried and fresh fruit. Surprise pairings include; strawberry, coconut, tamarind and cocoa.
