Organic Kale (Lacinato)
Organic Lacinato Kale is a variety of Italian heirloom kale with long, spiky, ruffled dark grey-green leaves. Served uncooked in a salad, this variety has a citrusy flavor with notes of pine; when cooked, it has a nutty broccoli taste. Also known as black kale it has a peppery flavor, and may be served in salads, soups, pasta sauces and stews.
