Organic Tangelos (Minneola)
This large citrus fruit is a cross between a tangerine and a grapefruit and when ripe, turns a deep red-orange color and is very easy to peel. These succulent, sweet fruits measure 3 to 3 1/2 inches in size and are usually seedless. Organic Minneola Tangelos have a burst of both sweet and tart flavors. Add them to either fruit or green salads. They’ll be delicious when dressed with most vinaigrettes.
