Sno Peas are favored for their pods (which are crisp and sweet) more so than their tiny peas. The flat shape of the makes it easy to distinguish from other edible pea pods like Sugar Snaps.
It is sweeter and less starchy than the green pea and is often enjoyed raw or just with a quick cook. May be used in salads, stir-fries, vegetable platters or as a side dish.
