Padron Peppers are a small, thin-skinned, dark green pepper and are generally mild in flavor. They range in size from 1 1/2 inches to 3 inches in length. Some are hot, some are not!
In Spain this pepper is a very popular tapas dish, meaning a small plate appetizer. Simply stuff or not with cheese, then either bake or fry them in a shallow pan until the skin puffs and begins to separate from the pepper. Sprinkle lightly with sea salt and enjoy! They are also great pickled.
