Sugar Plums are less juicy than other plums, however when baked the fruit maintains more of its shape, and because there is less liquid, the flavor is more intense.

    Sugar Plums have a firmer texture that holds up well, even when made into jams or sauces. Their flavor is concentrated, so they are a wonderful addition to baked goods like coffee cakes or scones. The taste of Sugar Plums also pairs well with stronger flavors like almond or cardamom.
